Tips for searching

• Try to search for a word with at least five letters.
• Do not build phrase too specific (better "bicycle" instead of "bicycle with Shimano Deore shifters")
• It is essential that you enter the keyword without any typos!
• Keep in mind, that a typo might result in another correct word.
• The longer your search-term is, the fewer variations of it can be found, as the eBay Search has limitations regarding the length of search-terms
  
• Do not search for a term in plural, if the singular is a possible typo (e.g. "bicycles" => possible typo "bicycle"). That will result in a lot of items being returned, although they are not misspelled.

Advanced options

• If you get too many results, the reason could be that a possible typo brought up a new correct term. Our search allows you to exclude those terms by simply putting a - in front of it.
  
  Example: You are searching for player and you are getting a lot of results. The reason could be, because layer is a possible typo of player, but a common term as well. If you want to exclude this term, then try searching for player -layer. But keep in mind, that now all items are excluded where the seller accidentally wrote layer instead of player!
  
  
• Sometimes it makes sense to search for combinations, where only a part of it should be turned into possible typos.
  
  Example: You are searching for Nokia 6110. In that case also the term 6110 would be turned into its possible typos which would result in many items being returned.
  To avoid that simply put the 6110 between " so that your new search-term is now Nokia "6110". Now only the word Nokia will be turned into its possible typos and the search will go for items which contain possible typos of Nokia and additionally the term 6110.
